1. Jesus the Controller of Life
To show that Jesus Christ is able to care for all aspects of our lives continually.
Read the scripture and ask these questions: What is happening here and who is affected? What does this tell me about Jesus? What does this mean to me?
1. MARK 4:35-41 – CHRIST HAS CONTROL OVER THE ELEMENTS.
1 Jesus sleeps during traumas.
2 In Christ we can sleep during traumas.
3 Jesus has power over the elements.
4 Ignorance produces fear (:41).
5 God’s word removes ignorance.

2. MARK 5:1-20 – CHRIST HAS CONTROL OVER THE SPIRITUAL .
1 Demons recognise Jesus’ authority.
2 Demons require God’s permission (:12).
3 Jesus controls demons.
4 Jesus puts us in our right mind.
5 When I’ve touched God I should touch others (:19).

3. MARK 5:25-35 – CHRIST HAS CONTROL OVER ILLNESS.
1 The woman was physically and emotionally drained.
2 Her perseverance got her to touch Jesus.
3 Jesus can cure all diseases.
4 The woman wasn’t just another face in the crowd she was special.

4. MARK 5:36-43 – CHRIST HAS CONTROL OVER DEATH.
1 Belief casts out fear.
2 To the physical world, death is final. To the spiritual world it’s only sleep.
3 They laughed at Jesus. They’ll laugh at you.
4 Jesus can raise the dead.
Response – This study should help us to see that we need to get to know Jesus Christ more as our personal saviour.
